Vila-seca Town Council live cams

Vila-seca is a town of about 24,000 people in the Tarragonès district, between Tarragona, Reus and Salou, on the Costa Dorada. Its municipality takes in the old town inland, the district of La Plana and the beach resort of La Pineda, and part of the PortAventura World resort lies within its boundaries. The town council promotes La Pineda through its own tourist board and website.

The council streams a live camera over La Pineda beach on its official YouTube channel, Vila-seca.cat, with embedding allowed, and the town's beach website shows the same stream on its webcam page. The camera stands behind the sand and looks along the beach towards Cap Salou, taking in the sea, the parasols, the lifeguard post and the fenced dunes behind the sand.

Because it is run by the town that looks after the beach, with a fixed view of the main stretch of sand, it is the most direct way to see the state of the sea and how busy the beach is before you go.
