Port Authority of Almería live cams
The state body that runs the port of Almería and the lighthouses on its coast, with live cameras on the harbour mouth and the Cabo de Gata lighthouse.
The Autoridad Portuaria de Almería is the public body that manages the port of Almería, on the south-eastern coast of Andalusia, as part of the network of state-owned ports of Spain. Besides the docks for ferries, cargo, fishing boats and yachts, Spain's port authorities are responsible for maritime signals along their stretch of coast, and that is why this one looks after lighthouses such as the one at Cabo de Gata.
On its website the port authority has a page of live cameras with two views: the harbour mouth of Almería and the Cabo de Gata lighthouse. The Cabo de Gata camera looks from the lighthouse over the volcanic pinnacles of the Arrecife de las Sirenas, in the heart of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park.
On this site the Cabo de Gata picture appears on the Cabo de Gata page as a still image, credited to the port authority with a link to its camera page. The cameras belong to a public body, so they are a reliable view of the coast, although like any camera they can go offline for maintenance.
