Benasque Town Council live cams

The town council of Benasque, in the Aragonese Pyrenees, which publishes two cameras: the town-hall square and the entrance to Cerler.

Benasque is the main town of the valley of the same name, in the north of the province of Huesca, at 1,138 m (3,734 ft) beside the river Ésera and below the highest mountains of the Pyrenees. Its municipality also takes in the villages of Cerler and Anciles, and part of the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park. The town council runs a tourism and culture website, Turismo y Cultura Benasque, and on its "Webcams" page it publishes two cameras of its own.

The first looks down from the town hall on the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the stone-paved square in the centre of Benasque. The second stands at the entrance to Cerler, the village above Benasque at the foot of the ski slopes, and looks across the road to the village and the mountains behind it. Both are high-resolution still photographs rather than video, with the date and time printed at the top of each one.

Because they are run by the council itself and point at the two places that every visitor passes through, they are a reliable way to see the weather, the state of the roads and the snow in the valley. On this site they appear on the Benasque page, credited to the town council with a link to its webcam page.
