The town council of Posada de Valdeón, in the Picos de Europa, which streams a live webcam over the village and its valley.
The Ayuntamiento de Posada de Valdeón is the town council of the municipality of Posada de Valdeón, in the province of León, which covers the whole Valdeón valley, between the western and central massifs of the Picos de Europa. Besides Posada, the main village, it includes Caín, Santa Marina, Caldevilla, Cordiñanes, Los Llanos, Prada and Soto, and its lands reach up to Torre Cerredo, the highest summit of the range. Much of the municipality lies inside the Picos de Europa National Park.
On its website, valdeon.org, the council shows a live webcam over the village, as a tool for visitors to see the valley in real time before they come. The stream, labelled with the council's name, is broadcast on YouTube by Wolkam, a company that streams webcams from many places in Spain.
