Tordesillas Town Council live cams
The town council of Tordesillas, whose tourist office streams a live camera on the arcaded Plaza Mayor.
The Ayuntamiento de Tordesillas is the town council of Tordesillas, in the province of Valladolid, the town on the River Duero where Castile and Portugal signed the treaty of 1494 that divided the newly explored world between them. Its tourist office, run by the council's tourism department, is based in the Casas del Tratado, the palaces where tradition places the negotiations, which also hold the museum of the treaty.
On its tourism website, tordesillas.net, the office offers a live webcam so that anyone can see what the town looks like at any moment. The camera looks over the Plaza Mayor, the 17th-century square lined with arcades on stone columns where the town hall stands, and is streamed through a live video player from Castr, a streaming service.
On this site the stream appears on the Tordesillas page through that same player, credited to the town council with a link to its tourism website. As it is a live video run by the council, it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance.
