Zaragoza City Council live cams

The city council of Zaragoza, whose tourism office publishes webcams of the Plaza del Pilar and of the Ebro at the Puente de Santiago.

The Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza is the city council of Zaragoza, the capital of Aragon and the fourth-largest city in Spain, with about 700,000 people. Its tourism department, Zaragoza Turismo, runs the city's tourist offices and the official tourism website, and on that website it publishes a page of municipal webcams.

There are two. The first looks west along the Plaza del Pilar from above its eastern end, beside the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, the square known as the city's drawing room, where Zaragoza holds the Ofrenda de Flores every 12 October. The second looks north across the River Ebro from the southern end of the Puente de Santiago, with the tram line crossing the bridge. Both are still images taken from high up, with the date and time printed on the picture, and they are served from the web servers of Ábaco Digital, a technology company. The same pictures also appear on Windy.

On this site both are shown on the Zaragoza page, credited to the city council with a link to its webcam pages. They are still images, not video: the refresh button brings the latest one each camera has sent.
