Fundación Camino Lebaniego live cams
The foundation behind the Camino Lebaniego pilgrim route to Santo Toribio de Liébana, with three live cameras in Potes.
The Fundación Camino Lebaniego is the foundation that looks after the Camino Lebaniego, the pilgrim route that leads from the Cantabrian coast to the monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana, above Potes. The monastery keeps a relic of the True Cross, and pilgrims have come to it since the Middle Ages. Together with the northern Camino de Santiago, which also crosses Cantabria, the route is part of a UNESCO World Heritage listing, and the foundation's website gathers practical information for walkers: maps, hostels, transport and contacts.
On its page about Potes, the town at the end of the route, the foundation publishes three live cameras, streamed through ipcamlive. One looks west up the valley over the parish church to the limestone peaks of the Picos de Europa; another looks south-west over old timber-framed houses to the Puente Nuevo on the river Quiviesa; the third looks down on a square by the river, with its café terraces.
All three appear on this site on the Potes page, credited to the foundation with a link to its webcam page.
