Candanchú live cams
One of the oldest ski resorts in Spain, below the Somport pass, with live cameras on its nursery slopes and lifts.
Candanchú is one of the oldest ski resorts in Spain, opened at the end of the 1920s at the head of the Aragón valley, a kilometre below the Somport pass and the French border, in the municipality of Aísa (Huesca). It is known for its large beginners' area at Pista Grande and Tobazo, for its ski school, one of the first in the country, and for steep expert runs such as the Tubo de la Zapatilla in the La Tuca sector.
The resort streams several live cameras through ipcamlive, a service that serves live video from ordinary network cameras and lets their owners share the player on other websites. On this site we show three of them: the nursery slope of Pista Grande at about 1,560 m, the view up to the huge limestone wall above the ticket office, and the Tuca Blanca chairlift seen from a building on the slope. They are real video, so you see the lifts and people moving. Two of them are also published on Windy, whose 24-hour time-lapses appear on the same page. The resort lists all its cameras on its own webcam page, linked from each player.
