Club Marítimo de Mahón live cams
Mahón's sailing and canoeing club, on the Moll de Llevant of Menorca's great natural harbour, with two live cameras over its moorings and sports quay.
The Club Marítimo de Mahón is the sailing and canoeing club of Menorca's capital, with its clubhouse and marina on the Moll de Llevant, the long quay on the town side of Mahón harbour. Its roots go back to 1900, when the local branch of Spain's Maritime League, known in Mahón as "Sa Lliga", was set up to deal with naval and merchant shipping matters. In 1944 its members decided to found a sailing club, and it was officially recognised as the Club Marítimo de Mahón on 11 March 1945. The club celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2025.
Today it runs sailing and canoeing schools, organises regattas through the year and manages a marina of more than a hundred berths for boats up to 15 metres long, for both resident and visiting yachts. It also holds the concession for the only fuel berth in the port of Mahón, next to its sports area at the start of the quay.
The club streams two cameras on its own website. One looks east down the harbour over the moorings towards Illa del Rei, with flags flying in the foreground. The other moves between several views of the sports area, where the sailing school keeps its dinghies, and the marina beyond. Both are live video, and both are also published on Windy, whose 24-hour time-lapses appear on this site as a second option. They are working cameras for the club's members, so the framing can change and a stream may stop for a while for maintenance.
