FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) live cams

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) is the railway company of the Government of Catalonia. Besides commuter and metro lines in and around Barcelona and rural railways, it runs tourist mountain railways, among them the rack railways of Núria and Montserrat, and, through its tourism and mountain division, six mountain resorts in the Pyrenees: La Molina, Vall de Núria, Vallter 2000, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé and Boí Taüll. It promotes them together under the name Pirineu365, with activities through the year, not only in the ski season.

The cameras on this site come from that network. Some are still cameras: each publishes a high-resolution photo, stamped with the date and time, on FGC's own servers, and the reload button brings the latest one. Others are 360-degree panoramas made by Roundshot, a Swiss camera system: each picture is a complete circle around the camera, which you can turn with your mouse or finger to look in any direction, from the lifts in front of you to the peaks on the horizon.

Because they belong to the company that runs the resorts, they stand where the operators need to see: at lift stations, on the main runs, at the base areas and on the summits. That makes them a reliable guide to the snow, the wind and the cloud on the mountain, and in summer to the walking country around the resorts. The photos are shown here as FGC publishes them, with a link to the webcam page of each resort.
