Gran Hotel Peñíscola live cams

The Gran Hotel Peñíscola is a four-star family hotel with a spa, standing on the front line of Playa Norte, the long North Beach of Peñíscola on the Costa del Azahar. From its upper floors the beach runs straight south to the old town on its rocky headland, crowned by the castle of the Papa Luna, and that is the view the hotel's webcam shows.

The hotel publishes the camera on its own website, on a page it calls "Webcam and meteorology", available in Spanish, Valencian, English, French, German and Dutch, and presents it as a way to see what Peñíscola looks like at any moment, 24 hours a day. The video is streamed through IPCamLive, a service that carries live images from IP cameras to web pages.

On this site the stream appears as the main live camera of Peñíscola, followed by the time-lapse of the same view that Windy publishes. The live video loads only when you press play. Because it depends on the hotel's camera and connection, it can stop for a while, for example during maintenance; the site checks its status automatically and says so when it is not broadcasting.
