Harry Hurtig Gran Canaria live cams
A YouTube channel streaming a moving camera along the south coast of Gran Canaria: Maspalomas lighthouse, Meloneras, the dunes and Arinaga.
Harry Hurtig Gran Canaria is a YouTube channel, on the platform since 2007, that streams live from the south of the island. Its owner broadcasts a camera that moves rather than one that stays fixed on a single view, and the title of the stream lists the places it visits: the Maspalomas lighthouse, Meloneras, the coast at Arinaga and the mountains.
In practice the camera pans and zooms along the south coast of Gran Canaria. In the course of an hour you can see the lighthouse at the end of Maspalomas beach, the promenade and hotels of Meloneras, the dunes, and, on the eastern side, the flat land and wind turbines around Arinaga with the island's mountains behind them. At times the screen is shared with a live flight-tracking panel that shows aircraft approaching Gran Canaria airport.
On this site the stream appears on the Maspalomas page. YouTube only loads it when you press play, and it is shown with the owner's credit and a link to his channel. Because the camera moves, it is best for a general look at the weather along the south of the island rather than for watching a particular beach.
