Port Torredembarra live cams

Port Torredembarra is the marina and fishing harbour of Torredembarra, on the Costa Dorada about 8 miles (13 km) north-east of Tarragona. It was built in 1995 and has 695 berths for sailing and motor boats of up to 28 metres, and in recent years it has renewed its pontoons and installations. Besides moorings it offers boat maintenance and a large boatyard, a restaurant, nautical activities and maritime training, and it is a base for wintering boats from the Balearic Islands.

The port keeps a live camera on the roof of one of its buildings and shows it on its website, where it can be watched alongside the information for visiting sailors. The camera has a very wide lens that takes in the inner harbour: the pontoons lined with yachts, the catamarans and the slipway, and the breakwater that shelters the basin, with the open sea beyond it. It is streamed through ipcamlive, a service for broadcasting IP cameras, which lets the same live view be shown on this site.

For sailors, it is a direct look at the conditions at the harbour mouth before setting out; for everyone else, it is the harbour of Torredembarra seen from inside, with the sea and the sky above it.
