PozoWinds live cams

PozoWinds is a water-sports centre in Pozo Izquierdo, the windsurfing village on the south-east coast of Gran Canaria, in the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana. It stands right beside the beach and runs a shop for windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing-foil and surf equipment, along with lessons, equipment rental, board storage and repairs, and accommodation for visiting sailors.

Its webcam is mounted on the top of the PozoWinds building and is streamed live on the centre's YouTube channel, which allows embedding; the centre also shows it on its own website, describing it as the most important page of the site. It looks over the promenade to the bay where the professional windsurfing world tour has long held one of its events. The centre explains how to read it: when the wind is showing 20 to 22 knots or more, the bay is sailable, and on days without wind the camera shows whether the waves are good for surfing or paddleboarding.
