Puertos de Cantabria live cams
The ports service of the Government of Cantabria, which runs the region's seven fishing and leisure harbours and publishes still images from cameras in all of them.
Puertos de Cantabria is the ports service of the Government of Cantabria, run by its Directorate-General for Water and Ports from offices in Santander. Under the region's Statute of Autonomy, Cantabria manages the ports that are not of national interest, so while the big commercial port of Santander belongs to the Spanish state, the smaller fishing and leisure harbours along the coast are the regional government's: Castro Urdiales, Colindres, Laredo, Santoña, Suances, Comillas and San Vicente de la Barquera. Its job is to plan, build and run them for fishing boats, pleasure craft and trade.
On the "Cámaras" page of its website it publishes still images from cameras in all seven harbours. Some are fixed and carry the name of the spot on the picture, such as the inner dock of Castro Urdiales or the pontoons of San Vicente. Others are rotating cameras marked "Puerto_360" that work through a round of positions, from the beach and the harbour mouth to the quays, so each picture can show a different view. Every image is stamped with the date and time.
On this site they appear on the pages of Comillas, Castro Urdiales, San Vicente de la Barquera, Suances and Laredo, credited to Puertos de Cantabria with a link to its camera page. Views that only show car parks, ramps or empty quays are left out.
