The Collado Jermoso refuge is a mountain hut at 2,064 m (6,772 ft) in the central massif of the Picos de Europa, in the municipality of Posada de Valdeón, León. It sits on a grassy shelf below the towers of the Llambrión, above the Valdeón valley, and is a base for climbs on the Llambrión, Peñalba and La Palanca. It was designed by the mountaineer and architect Julián Delgado Úbeda, planned in 1933 and opened in August 1942. From the village of Cordiñanes, at 850 m, the climb to the hut takes four to five hours.
On its website the refuge has a webcam page with two live views: the refuge itself and the Valdeón valley. The refuge camera shows the limestone around the hut and a pole for measuring snow, with a panel of weather data from its station, updated every hour. It is streamed on YouTube by Wolkam, a company that broadcasts webcams from many places in Spain.
On this site it has its own page, the Collado Jermoso webcam, through YouTube's player, credited to the refuge with a link to its webcam page.
