Santa Mónica Suites Hotel live cams

The Santa Mónica Suites Hotel is a four-star hotel on the edge of the Maspalomas dunes, at the point where the resort of Playa del Inglés meets the nature reserve in the south of Gran Canaria. It has 182 rooms, all of them junior suites, and its terraces and pool look straight out over the sand.

The hotel streams a live camera from the building and shows it on its own website. A wide fisheye lens looks south across the dunes to the Atlantic, with the hotel's palm trees and terraces on the right-hand edge of the frame. The stream is delivered through ipcamlive, a service that hosts camera feeds, and the hotel allows it to be embedded on other websites.

On this site the camera is the first view on the Maspalomas page, because it shows what most visitors come to see: the dunes and the sea in one picture. It is useful for checking the sky over the south of the island, the wind on the sand and the state of the sea.
