SOLYMAR Gran Hotel live cams

SOLYMAR Gran Hotel is a hotel on the seafront of Calpe, on the Costa Blanca, standing directly on Arenal-Bol, the town's main beach on the southern side of the Penyal d'Ifac. It belongs to ESTIMAR Hotels, a Spanish group with other hotels and apartments in Calpe and in the province of Valencia.

The hotel offers a live camera on its website so that guests can see the beach and the weather before they arrive. It looks east along Arenal-Bol from the hotel: palm fronds and the hotel's own parasols in the lower corner, the sand curving away along the seafront, the tower blocks of the isthmus and, at the end of the view, the great limestone rock of the Penyal d'Ifac with the harbour at its foot. A date and time stamp in the corner shows when each frame was taken.

The stream is delivered through ipcamlive, a camera-streaming service whose player can be embedded on other websites, and it plays here in that same player, credited to the hotel. A 24-hour time-lapse of the same view, published through Windy, is offered alongside it on the Calpe page. A hotel camera can stop for maintenance, and its framing can change over time.
