WingCam live cams

WingCam is a live-camera project devoted to aviation and ships. Its website, wingcamlive.com, and its YouTube channel stream ports and airports in the Canary and Balearic Islands for plane spotters, ship enthusiasts and travellers on their way to the islands.

On this site you will find its Mallorca camera, set on the Amic Horizonte hotel on the western side of Palma's harbour. The camera moves through the day between the port, the airport approach, the city and the beach, and it often follows ferries and cruise ships as they come and go. A timetable of the cruise ships due the next day often appears in a corner of the picture. WingCam's other streams cover the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the airport and sky of Lanzarote.

The project invites arriving passengers to say hello: if you tell it when your ship or plane arrives, it tries to point the camera at you. Viewers who support the channel can also request where the camera looks. The stream is embedded from WingCam's YouTube channel, which allows it, and loads only when you press play. Windy keeps a 24-hour time-lapse of the same camera.
