Valdesquí live cams
The ski resort of the Sierra de Guadarrama above the Puerto de Cotos, run by Estación Alpina de Cotos, which publishes still cameras of its slopes.
Valdesquí is the largest and busiest ski resort in the Sierra de Guadarrama and the Community of Madrid. It lies on the north-facing slopes of the Bola del Mundo and the Cerro de Valdemartín, in the municipality of Rascafría, just above the Puerto de Cotos and its mountain railway station. The resort is run by the company Estación Alpina de Cotos, and its pistes, about 22 km of them, run between roughly 1,860 m and 2,260 m, with a race-approved run named after Francisco Fernández Ochoa, Spain's first Winter Olympic champion.
On its winter website the resort publishes a page of webcams over the ski area. Each sends a still image stamped with the camera's name, the date and the time, and between them they cover the slopes, the lifts and the car park, which is what skiers from Madrid want to see before setting off.
On this site we show the camera the resort calls Estadio on the Valdesquí page, credited to Valdesquí with a link to its webcam page, alongside two cameras on the Puerto de Cotos shared on Windy. It is a still image, not video: the refresh button brings the latest one the camera has sent.
