Harbour and beach panorama

A panoramic camera above the harbour that pans from the beach beside the port to the marina. What you see

Cambrils is the Costa Dorada's fishing town: a working harbour lined with seafood restaurants, a long seafront promenade and beaches stretching away on both sides. It sits just along the coast from Salou but keeps a calmer, more grown-up feel, and its webcams show the harbour as much as the sand.

What you can see on the Cambrils webcams

A panoramic camera above the port sweeps slowly from the beach to the marina: first the wide sand and the open sea, then the road and promenade, and finally the pontoons full of yachts. A second camera looks across the inner harbour at the seafront, with fishing boats moored in the foreground and the houses of the port quarter behind. The panorama is filmed as a short video clip, and a 24-hour time-lapse of the same view sits alongside it; the harbour view is a still photo with the latest weather.

Cambrils webcam: from the beach to the marina

This panoramic camera above Cambrils harbour does not stay still: each clip pans slowly from left to right across the seafront. It starts on the beach beside the port, with the wide sand, a row of palms and the sea stretching to the horizon, crosses the junction and promenade behind the beach, where coaches and early walkers pass, and ends over the marina, where the masts of the yachts stand in neat rows behind the harbour wall.

That sweep makes it two cameras in one: a beach check and a look at the harbour. The camera faces south-east, so in the morning it looks into the sun and the sea sparkles; around midday the colours are at their truest. Watch the flags and the palm fronds as it pans: they show the wind before you feel it.

Cambrils harbour webcam: the fishing port

From the quayside, this weather camera of 3Cat looks north across the inner basin of Cambrils harbour towards the seafront. Small fishing boats and pleasure craft are tied up along the near quays, a line of moored boats leads off to the right, and behind the water stands a row of four- and five-storey houses, many with balconies, above the palm trees and pines of the promenade.

It shows the port quarter at its most typical, the side of Cambrils known for its seafood restaurants. The still water of the basin reflects the sky, which makes it a quick guide to whether the day is clear and calm. The photo comes with the latest temperature, wind and humidity.

The harbour and its tower

Cambrils grew up a short way inland, and for centuries the shore was too exposed to pirate raids to live on. The Torre del Port, a round watchtower that still stands by the harbour, was built to guard the fishermen, and only once the danger passed did the port quarter spread along the sea. Fishing is still part of daily life here, and the harbourside restaurants are the place to try the local catch.

When to watch Cambrils

Cambrils is one hour ahead of the UK and Ireland. The beaches face south and south-east, so the panorama is bright from early morning, often looking straight into the sun; the harbour camera is at its best in the morning light, when the sun is behind it and the seafront glows. Summer brings calm seas and full beaches, while autumn storms bring grey skies and rougher water.

Around Cambrils

Salou and PortAventura are about 5 miles (8 km) to the north-east. In the other direction, the beaches carry on past La Llosa and L'Ardiaca, and five of the town's beaches hold a Blue Flag for 2026. A few miles inland, the Parc Samà is a 19th-century garden of palms, lakes and follies, and the GR 92 coastal footpath passes through the town.

Visiting Cambrils

Reus airport is less than 10 miles (16 km) away, and Cambrils has its own station on the railway south from Tarragona. The promenade runs flat along the whole seafront, which makes it easy to walk from the harbour to the beaches.
