Live from a harbour building over the yachts on the pontoons to the breakwater and the open sea. What you see

Torredembarra, "La Torre" to the people who live there, is a relaxed family resort on the Costa Dorada, about 8 miles (13 km) north-east of Tarragona. Its beaches are long and sandy, and at the eastern end they run into a protected stretch of natural dunes. Three live cameras, two from the town and one from the marina, cover the seafront from end to end.

What you can see on the Torredembarra webcams

The widest view is a panorama from above the promenade: the square in front of La Paella beach, the sand and the sea, with the harbour wall and its masts off to the right. A second camera looks east along the seafront, past a tall old pine, to the beach and the apartment blocks that follow the coast. The third sits on a building in the marina and looks out over the pontoons to the harbour mouth. All three are live, and the two beach views also have a 24-hour time-lapse.

Torredembarra beach webcam: La Paella panorama

This very wide live camera of Torredembarra tourist office takes in the whole of La Paella beach from above the promenade. Along the bottom runs the seafront road and the paved square, with benches, lamp posts and the odd parked van; in the middle the sand stretches away, with a lifeguard tower, beach showers and shaded pergolas; and at the top the sea fills the horizon. On the left, scrubby dunes back the beach, and on the right the harbour wall leads out with the masts of the marina behind it.

The panorama shows so much of the beach at once that it is the best place to see how crowded it is and how the sea looks right across the bay. On clear mornings the sun rises almost straight ahead.

The town's second live camera stands on a rooftop behind the promenade and looks east along the coast. A tall, wind-bent pine dominates the right of the picture, with palm trees below it; on the left, the seafront road and its line of apartment buildings lead the eye into the distance, while the beach and its fringe of dune grass run alongside to a sea that meets the sky far off.

Because it looks along the shore rather than out to sea, it is good for seeing how far the sand stretches and how busy the far end is, as well as for judging the breeze in the branches of the pine. In the morning the sun sits just off the right-hand edge, so the colours are brightest towards midday.

Torredembarra harbour webcam: the marina

Port Torredembarra streams this live view from the roof of one of its buildings. A wide lens takes in the whole inner harbour: rows of yachts with their masts up line the pontoons on the left and in the centre, a long walkway runs out between them, and on the right there are catamarans and a slipway. Behind them, the breakwater closes the harbour off from the open sea, which glitters to the horizon.

It is the camera for anyone who sails or is thinking of a boat trip: you can see whether the sea beyond the wall is calm or white-capped and whether the flags and rigging are moving. In the morning the camera faces the sun, so the clearest images come from late morning onwards.

Dunes and a marina

East of the town centre, the beach gives way to Els Muntanyans, a protected strip of dunes shared with neighbouring Creixell, crossed by wooden boardwalks so that walkers keep off the plants that hold the sand together. At the other end, the marina was built in 1995 and has around 700 berths for sailing and motor boats; it is also a fishing harbour. The old town, a short walk inland, is built around the Renaissance Castell dels Icart.

When to watch Torredembarra

Torredembarra is one hour ahead of the UK and Ireland. The beaches face south-east, so on clear mornings the sun rises out of the sea right in front of the cameras; by late morning the glare has gone and the colour of the water is easy to judge. In summer the sea is warm and calm most days, and a breeze usually picks up in the afternoon.

Around Torredembarra

Altafulla, next door to the west, has a well-kept medieval village on its hill, and just beyond it the castle of Tamarit stands on a rock above the sea. Tarragona, with its Roman amphitheatre by the sea, is less than 20 minutes away by train, and the GR 92 coastal path passes through the town on its way between Calafell and Tarragona.

Visiting Torredembarra

Trains between Barcelona and Tarragona stop at Torredembarra station, in the town. Two of its beaches, La Paella and Els Muntanyans, hold a Blue Flag for 2026. The nearest airport is Reus, about 16 miles (25 km) away; Barcelona airport is a little over an hour by road.
